Architect: Octav Doicescu et al.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Parte integrant\u0103 din complexul studen\u021besc Regie, cl\u0103direa rectoratului se poate vedea de la mare distan\u021b\u0103 datorit\u0103 formei sale particulare, av\u00e2nd similarit\u0103\u021bi cu a unei nave spa\u021biale. Imobilul, proiectat de un colectiv de condus de arhitectul Octav Doicescu, poate fi perceput ca o interpretare plastic\u0103 a arhitecturii de tranzi\u021bie de la estetica stalinist\u0103 la modernism prin parterul s\u0103u masiv, cu goluri de mici dimensiuni, constituit ca baz\u0103 a edificiului. \u00centregul edificiu este acoperit de o cupol\u0103 lenticular\u0103 care reprezint\u0103 un element principal al incintei, echilibr\u00e2nd frontul larg al construc\u021biilor din \u00eentregul ansamblu universitar. Ansamblul universitar<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>se afl\u0103 \u00eentr-o stare de conservare relativ bun\u0103.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Integrant part of the Regie student campus, the Rectorate building is easily distinguishable from afar, thanks to its particular shape, similar to that of a spaceship. The building, designed by a professional team coordinated by architect Octav Doicescu, may be seen as an interpretation of the transition from Stalinist architecture to modernism, with its massive<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>ground floor, with small openings, serving as a base for the whole construction. The entire building is covered by a lenticular dome, that becomes one of the defining elements of the area and serves as a balancing landmark in the wide front of buildings of the university campus.
