Carpati<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Edificiul cuprindea cele dou\u0103 func\u021biuni importante: spectacole \u0219i club, \u00eenchegate \u00eentr-o tratare deosebit\u0103 a volumelor opace. Plastica arhitectural\u0103 bazat\u0103 pe o compozi\u021bie sobr\u0103 folose\u0219te interpretarea unor elemente \u0219i principii tradi\u021bionale, caracteristice modernismului socialist regional, influen\u021bat \u00een amploarea motivelor de concepte specifice arhitecturii rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti &#8211; nuan\u021bele prispei la fa\u021bada principal\u0103, tratat\u0103 cu un plus de monumentalitate. Amplasat\u0103 \u00een centru, dup\u0103 cum a impus planul de sistematizare socialist\u0103 a ora\u0219ului, Casa de Cultur\u0103 a Sindicatelor a fost construit\u0103 la vremea ei \u00een urma nevoii de a livra popula\u021biei centre culturale \u0219i de recreere. A devenit o dotare important\u0103 a Alexandriei, \u00eens\u0103 ast\u0103zi arat\u0103 ca o epav\u0103, incomod\u00e2nd autorit\u0103\u021bile locale.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The building included the two main functions &#8211; a theatre and a club &#8211; interconnected in a special treatment of the opaque volumes. The architectural expression, with a rigorous composition, is based on the interpretation of traditional principles and elements, typical for regional socialist modernism. The weight of these motifs is influenced by specific concepts of Romanian architecture &#8211; a hint of the porch, with a plus of monumentality, for the main fa\u00e7ade. Located in the city center, as the socialist zoning plan required, the Union\u2019s Cultural Center was built, at the time, in an effort to deliver culture and recreation venues to the population.
