(\u00centreprinderea de Ma\u0219ini Grele Bucure\u0219ti) a f\u0103cut parte dintre \u00eentreprinderile rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti cu tradi\u021bie. \u00cenfiin\u021bat\u0103 \u00een 1963, este una din unit\u0103\u021bile unde se produceau turbine de aburi, inclusiv prima turbin\u0103 de 700 MW pentru Centrala Nuclear\u0103 de la Cernavod\u0103. \u00cen imagine &#8211; o hal\u0103 pentru produc\u021bia de componente de reactoare nucleare, cu instala\u021bii de r\u0103cire \u00een prim plan. (Bucharest Heavy Machines Works) was a among the long standing Romanian industrial parks. Founded in 1963, it was one of the facilities that produced steam turbines, including the first 700 MW turbine for the Cernavoda Nuclear Plant. Here &#8211; a production hall for nuclear reactor<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>components, with the cooling towers in the foreground. The building is disused and in a dire state. Before 1989, the I.M.G.B. park included several factories, employing around 13,000. After 1990, the complex was fragmented and in 1998 it was sold by the State Privatization Fund, in a \u201done dollar privatisation\u201d, because it had many debts.
