I. Lenin. Era unitatea de comunica\u021bii ce asigura leg\u0103turile telefonice interurbane at\u00e2t pentru Chi\u0219in\u0103u, c\u00e2t \u0219i pentru \u00eentreaga Moldov\u0103. \u00cenchiria canale de leg\u0103tur\u0103 pentru organiza\u021bii \u0219i entit\u0103\u021bi economice \u0219i dispunea de cabine telefonice interurbane. \u00cen dou\u0103 volume suprapuse, totaliz\u00e2nd 5 niveluri s-au comasat func\u021biunile publice cu cele tehnico-administrative. Volumele sunt \u0219i acum un punct de interes, at\u00e2t func\u021bional, c\u00e2t \u0219i plastic, prin elementele prefabricate pe zona opac\u0103 \u0219i de trafor pe por\u021biunile vitrate ale fa\u021badelor. Pe fa\u021bada lateral\u0103 orientat\u0103 c\u0103tre pia\u021ba central\u0103 se poate remarca un panou decorativ creat de arti\u0219tii B. Obuh \u0219i M. Burea.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The long-distance phone center, the first of the kind in the republic, was located downtown, on the former V. I. Lenin Boulevard. It was the communication center that ensured long-distance telephone calls for the capital and for the rest of the republic. It used to rent connection channels for organisations and companies and provided access to long-distance phone booths. The two 5-storey high overlapping volumes combined public, technical and administrative functions. The volumes are still a point of interest, both in terms of functionality and aesthetics, using precast elements for the opaque parts of the fa\u00e7ades and perforated panels over the glazed areas. The lateral fa\u00e7ade looking on the central square is decorated with a panel signed by artists B. Obuh and M.
