Architects: Teodor Deac et al.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00cen zona Gr\u0103dinii Botanice, un mediu prielnic pentru unit\u0103\u021bile medicale, a fost ridicat spitalul de boli contagioase, proiectat de arhitectul Teodor Deac. Cu o capacitate de 214 paturi, sta\u021bionarul a fost creat pentru izolarea \u0219i tratamentul bolilor contagioase \u00een jude\u021bul Cluj \u0219i \u00een jude\u021bele limitrofe. Unitatea medical\u0103 cuprindea urm\u0103toarele sec\u021bii: hepatit\u0103 epidemic\u0103, boli gastrointestinale \u0219i cutanate, boli nazofaringiene \u0219i respiratorii \u0219i neuroviroze. Creat \u00eentr-o volumetrie impun\u0103toare, din dou\u0103 corpuri legate \u00eentre ele, ambele cu planul \u00een forma literei L \u0219i cu volume fragmentate, complexul atrage \u0219i acum aten\u021bia clujenilor. El \u00ee\u0219i p\u0103streaz\u0103 aspectul original, opera\u021biunile de reabilitare nefiind \u00eenc\u0103 aplicate. Ansamblul se afl\u0103 totu\u0219i \u00eentr-o stare avansat\u0103 de degradare.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Infectious Diseases Hospital, designed by architect Teodor Deac, was built in the Botanical Garden area, an appropriate environment for medical institutions. The 214-bed facility was created to isolate and treat cases of contagious illnesses in Cluj and surrounding counties. It included sections for epidemic hepatitis; gastrointestinal and cutaneous diseases; nasopharyngeal and respiratory diseases; neuroviroses. With an imposing body resulting from two interconnected, fragmented volumes, both with an L-shaped footprint, the building still attracts attention. It has so far escaped rehabilitation and still preserves its original aspect.
