In terms of composition, the hotel consists of two volumes: a vertical one, hosting the guest rooms, with 202 beds on 11 floors; and a horizontal one that includes the food area and services: a 540-seat restaurant, a brasserie, conference rooms and other facilities. The monumental art work at the bottom of the lateral façade on Traian Street, an aquatic theme by artist Pavel Codita, and the diversely hued ceramic tiles give this hotel personality and a genuine air of the ’70s. The building has suffered several improper interventions in the rehabilitation of the restaurant, such as the loud colors. However, the volumetry is still intact, unspoiled by any parasite buildings or annexes.

Construit în 1969-1971.
