Architect: Ilie Dumitrescu<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Fostul Centru de Calcul al C.F.R., \u00een prezent Centrul de Informatic\u0103 Feroviar\u0103, a fost conceput pe un plan cu arhitectur\u0103 simpl\u0103 dispus\u0103 pe 3 niveluri, cu func\u021biunile principale amplaste central \u0219i cele secundare periferic. Formele cl\u0103dirii sunt predominant opace, caracteristice profilului func\u021bional, de ad\u0103postire a aparaturii de calcul electronic \u0219i mecanografic necesare optimiz\u0103rii transportului feroviar de marf\u0103 \u0219i pasageri, adaptat\u0103 azt\u0103zi la cerin\u021bele erei digitale. Centrul a suferit distrugeri semnificative la cutremurul din 1977, fiind supus unor lucr\u0103ri imediate de consolidare. Ceea ce nu se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 ast\u0103zi, \u00een pofida situa\u021biei alarmante \u00een care se afl\u0103: t\u00e2mpl\u0103ria exterioar\u0103 este \u00eenlocuit\u0103 doar par\u021bial, s-au realizat o serie de terase cu copertine din materiale de proast\u0103 calitate, care s-au degradat \u00een scurt timp.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The former Computing Center of the Railway Company, currently the Railway Cyber Center, has a simple architectural design, with three levels that organize main functions in the center and secondary ones peripherally. The volumes are predominantly opaque, typical for the functional profile &#8211; hosting the computer and mechanographic equipment required to optimize rail freight and pasenger traffic, today adapted to digital age standards. The center suffered significant damage during the 1977 earthquake and was immediately consolidated. Restoration works do not seem likely today, despite the alarming state of disrepair: exterior joinery has been only partly replaced, low quality materials were used for terraces and marquees and have deteriorated rapidly.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Construit \u00een 1969.
