The plan drafted by architect Kosma Yurov included a large reinforced concrete station to cover the needs of a new industrial city, with spacious, glazed waiting halls and stores for transiting passengers. The views to the north and south – industrial area and picturesque landscape on one side, cityscape and Station Square on the other – inspired the open and naturally lit halls that allowed passengers to interract with the natural environment. The waiting halls on the upper floor, that also service the coach station, are still a resting place for tourists. The building is in an acceptable state, being-well maintained and preserving its modernist air.

Construită în 1968.
