Repurposed in 2014<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cl\u0103direa, \u00een plan rectangular alungit,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>este a\u0219ezat\u0103 pe un taluz pe malul lacului Her\u0103str\u0103u. Compozi\u021bional, volumul dezvoltat pe orizontal\u0103 este acoperit cu arce din sc\u00e2nduri de lemn rezemate pe pile verticale masive finisate cu caramid\u0103 aparent\u0103, corespunz\u00e2nd posibilit\u0103\u021bilor tehnice ale perioadei. Interiorul, destinat ini\u021bial expunerii unor obiecte industriale de mari dimensiuni, a fost refunc\u021bionalizat recent \u00eentr-o ber\u0103rie. Fa\u021badele decorate cu elemente din beton prefabricat au fost placate cu finisaje noi \u0219i tencuite. \u00cen afar\u0103 de sc\u0103derea calit\u0103\u021bii finisajului, aceast\u0103 interven\u021bie are \u0219i marele dezavantaj de a schimba propor\u021biile \u0219i detaliile de arhitectur\u0103 precum micile decro\u0219uri \u00een planul fa\u021badei care marcau prin elemente minimaliste soclul sau corni\u0219a. \u0218i intrarea impun\u0103toare a fost mutilat\u0103 irecuperabil.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The building, with an elongated<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>rectangular footprint, is positioned on the embankment of the Herastrau lake. In terms of composition, the horizontal volume is covered with wood beam arches resting on massive vertical pilasters finished in apparent brick &#8211; a solution in accordance with the technical possibilities of the time. The pavilion, initially designed to exhibit large industrial items, has been recently repurposed as a beer hall. The fa\u00e7ades, originally decorated with precast concrete elements, are now newly finished and plastered. Besides the lower quality of the finishings, the intervention has the disadvantage of altering the architectural proportions and details, such as the small protrusions &#8211; minimalist elements that marked the plinth or cornice.
