Artists: Vasile Celmare, Gheorghe Iacob<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Destinat institu\u021biilor \u0219i organiza\u021biilor politice jude\u021bene \u0219i locale, Palatul se num\u0103r\u0103 printre cele mai reprezentative edificii administrative din \u021bar\u0103. Amplasat \u00een centrul Ploie\u0219tiului, el ad\u0103poste\u0219te ast\u0103zi Consiliul Jude\u021bean Prahova. Ansamblul are un corp principal de tip lam\u0103 pe 9 niveluri, \u0219i unul orizontal, pe dou\u0103 niveluri, dispus \u00een partea din spate, cu o curte interioar\u0103 decorat\u0103 cu un mozaic poliptic. Volumul vertical se remarc\u0103 prin parterul retras, ce las\u0103 loc unui portic sus\u021binut de elemen\u021bi structurali \u00een Y pe trei dintre laturi. Starea de conservare este bun\u0103, dar se recomand\u0103 includerea cl\u0103dirii pe Lista monumentelor istorice pentru a evita lucr\u0103ri de reabilitare inadecvate. Recent au fost anun\u021bat\u0103 \u00eenlocuirea t\u00e2mpl\u0103riei metalice \u015fi din lemn cu t\u00e2mpl\u0103rie din PVC \u015fi aluminiu.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Designed for county and local institutions and political organizations, the Palace is among the most representative administrative buildings in the country. Located in downtown Ploiesti, it is now the seat of the Prahova County Council. The ensemble consists of a slab shaped 9-storey volume and a horizontal two-level volume on the back side, creating an interior courtyard decorated with a mosaic polyptych. The vertical volume stands out for its setback ground floor, leaving space for a portico, supported by Y-shaped structural elements along three of its sides. The building is in a good state of conservation, but it should be listed as a monument in order to avoid an inadequate rehabilitation.
