For the 1970s, it was a significant increase of residential (1,390 apartaments) and commercial space (17,100 sqm) on the ground floor shops. Building 16 marked the beginning of Dorobantilor Road, with its 12 residential floors and the shopping space on the ground floor and mezzanine. Its alveolar frame completes the street front, alongside I.L. Caragiale High School. Loud advertisments covering its façade all year long divert attention away from the general degradation of the building. Lack of maintenance caused mould and the cracked concrete exposed the rebars of the loggias cantilevered over the road.

Construită în 1975.
