The Hipodrom neighborhood included a shopping center, a commercial complex, various shops, two schools, several preschools and nurseries and a social and cultural facility at microdistrict level. Playgrounds, sports fields, parking lots, garages and a park were also planned. The façades were decorated with stone dust, colored marble dust and mosaic plates. The stairwell walls were made of romboidal glass panes arranged at different angles. The thermal plants had expressive volumes and a circular main building with a 35 m chimney tower. The whole complex is now in a poor state, the only maintenance works ever done being to replace the original access door frames with PV joinery.

Construit în 1971.
