The architectural solution was chosen in order to create a visual accent at the entrance to the former V. I. Lenin Park (today, Valea Trandafirilor – Valley of Roses), in the form of a bridge raised on apparent concrete pillars that connects the theatre halls building (the 700-seat Great Hall and the 300-seat Small Hall) with the sports center. With a few exceptions, the building preserves the design of the 1980s.
