Complex de odihnă Cosmos

Complexul Cosmos a fost ridicat în localitatea numită între 1950 și 1962 Vasile Roaită, pe un teren de pe malul mării, la extremitatea sudică a bulevardului de pe faleză. Avea o capacitate de 512 paturi și o cantină pentru 1.000 de mese în două serii (vezi poziția 108). Corpul de cazare, cap de perspectivă al bulevardului, este compus din două aripi ce includ accesul și circulația principală pe verticală. Speculând denivelarea terenului, aripa de pe axa bulevardului are șase niveluri cu camere pe ambele laturi, iar aripa paralelă cu faleza are cinci niveluri, cu camere spre mare. Azi, complexul e împărțit prin privatizare în hotel și restaurant. Cel dintâi este în funcțiune, după o reabilitare care i-a modificat caracteristicile arhitecturale, cel din urmă, extrem de degradat, e pus în vânzare.

Cosmos Complex was built in a resort that between 1950 and 1962 bore the name of communist hero Vasile Roaita, at the southern end of the seaside avenue. It could host 512 and the canteen served 1,000 tables in two series (see item 108). The accommodation building, at the end of the axis of the avenue, has two wings that share the access and main staircase. Using the declivities of the ground, the wing facing the avenue has six storeys with rooms on both sides, while the wing lining the beach has five, with rooms facing the sea. The hotel and the restaurant were split during the privatisation process. The former is functional, after inadequate renovations that changed its aspect, while the latter, in bad shape, is offered for sale.
